Harold M. Johns received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Louisville College of Law in 1982; his Bachelor of Arts Degree Honors Program from the University of Kentucky in 1979. After graduating from Law School, Mac returned to the area, where his family has roots stretching back more than 200 years, to establish his practice. Mac has been a practicing Attorney for 37 years with a General Civil and Trial Practice, including probate, estates, trusts, and litigation in both State and Federal Courts. Mac’s practice has concentrated in Civil Rights Defense and School Law for several years. Mac is general counsel for Drive Safe Kentucky.
For 28 years Mac served the citizens of Todd County as their Court Attorney. Mac has been counsel for the Todd County Board of Education for more than 25 years. He has been president of the Kentucky County Attorney’s Association as well as the Kentucky Counsel of School Board Attorneys.
Mac is an active member of the Elkton Rotary Club and serves as a Director of the Todd County Industrial Foundation.
